Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram will be Lean & Minimalist in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor’s appearance in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana will be minimalist and lean, reported India Today quoting sources.

Ranbir Kapoor underwent a look test for his portrayal of Lord Ram in the movie. This photo shoot was to finalize his appearance as Lord Ram.

It is reported that Ranbir Kapoor will not gain weight or add up muscles for the role of Lord Ram in Dangal fame director Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The director wants Lord Ram in his movie to be in a natural lean avatar.

Ranbir’s bare-bodied look as Lord Ram wearing golden and gem-studded ornaments has impressed everyone who has seen the photos, said the India Today report.

Lord Ram and Sita Mata in this movie will not be seen in heavy jewellery and costumes.

Tiwari has created a separate team for the diction and dialogue department of ‘Ramayana’. Tiwari has put Ranbir Kapoor on to a diction expert to refine his dialogue delivery for this mythological movie.
