Phones Banned on Ramayana Set Following Leaked Photos

Mumbai: Following leaked pictures from the sets of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ showing Arun Govil and Lara Dutta in costume going viral on social media, director has put a band on mobile phones on the set.

Nitesh Kumar has ordered a strict no-phone policy to avert such incidents in future.

India Today reported that director Nitesh Tiwari is very upset with the photos of the shooting getting leaked on social media. It is reported that Tiwari and his team have instructed extra staff and crew to be off the set when the shoot starts. Only actors and technicians required for the scene will be allowed to be on set and no one else will be allowed to remain in the area.

On Thursday, April 3, images of Lara Dutta (who plays queen Kaikeyi) and Arun Govil (Dashrath) were leaked from the sets of the film.

The director summoned the camera crew and set assistant directors to investigate how the photos were leaked.

Nitesh Tiwari wants to keep Ranbir Kapoor’s first look as Rama closely guarded secret making sure it is not leaked.

Ranbir Kapoor is yet to start shooting for the movie.
