Amitabh Bachchan Greets Fans Outside Jalsa In ‘Homemade Sling’

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan was badly injured on the sets of his much-awaited film Project K.  However, on Sunday, March 26, Big B met and greeted his fans gathered outside his Mumbai home Jalsa. Taking to his blog on Monday, March 27, the Bollywood superstar posted some photos in which he was seen wearing a ‘homemade sling’.

Sharing the pictures on his Tumblr blog, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “They come in droves and wait and watch, elders , children and several others in passing or in station .. so much care and love .. blessed to be in their eyes for more ..And the work continues .. the Sunday blessings of the well-wishers .. my love affection and gratitude .. they still come .. me in homemade sling and the grey.. there is a flood of well-wishers here, but space and limits do not allow (sic)..”

He also added, “The breathing done in the ‘yaam’ for now ; off to work, in defiance somehow ; the Ef renders, this is beyond allow ; but work I must , to them I bow !!! There is a flood of well wishers here, but space and limits do not allow ..so shall be posting another Blog , patience please, doing it now!!”

Opening up about the accident, he wrote in his blog, “And it needs to be told, not be held. In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured, rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage, canceled shoot, did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home (sic).”

Project K is a fantasy drama that features Prabhas in a new avatar. The C Ashwini Dutt-backed movie stars Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with the Baabubali star.
