Big B’s Grandson Agastya Nanda to Star in 1971 War Biopic With Dharmendra

Mumbai: After making his presence felt in ‘The Archies’, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda has bagged director Sriram Raghavan’s big screen war film ‘Ekkis’.

‘Ekkis’ is a biopic of the 1971 war hero, Arun Khetarpal. Veteran actor Dharmendra will also feature in the movie in the role of his father, ML Khetarpal. The ‘The Archies’ actor has been roped in to play the role of the leading character, Arun Khetarpal.

Sriram Raghavan’s thriller ‘Merry Christmas’ awaits release in January. Agastya attended several acting workshops with Sriram to polish his acting so that he can step into the shoes of India’s celebrated war hero, Arun Khetarpal.

Agastya Nanda’s ‘The Archies’ premiered on Netflix on December 7.

Sriram Raghavan has directed films like ‘Badlapur’, ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ and ‘Andhadhun’.
