Cancer Claims Life of 26-Yr-Old Former Miss World Contestant

Twenty-six-year-old former Miss World contestant Sherika de Armas of Uruguay passed away, following a two-year battle with cervical cancer.

According to Uruguayan media, she died on October 13 after a two-year cervical cancer battle.

Shrika was Miss Uruguay in 2015. She took part in the 2015 Miss World contest in Sanya, China. At that time she was 18-year-old.
