David Dhawan to Direct Son Barun in His Next Comic Extravaganza

Mumbai: Barun Dhawan will star in the next laughter-packed extravaganza of his father and renowned director David Dhawan.

This unnamed comic venture will go to the floors in April 2024. David Dhawan, promises that this upcoming movie will be a a delightful treat for audiences seeking a wholesome theatrical experience with their families.

This upcoming film will have two leading ladies with Varun Dhawan. The production team is currently in the process of finalizing the cast for the female leads, with a keen eye on securing two A-List actresses for pivotal roles in the project.

This yet-to-be-titled comic escapade will be a convoluted love story, ensuring a rollercoaster ride of laughter and confusion.

It will be produced by Ramesh Taurani under the TIPS Entertainment banner and is expected to release on the silver screen either towards the end of 2024 or the early months of 2025.

This film will be a high-budget comic entertainer shot across multiple locations in India and abroad.

Before starting on this proposed comedy movie, Varun Dhawan will wrap up shooting for his ongoing action-packed project, ‘VD 18,’ produced by Murad Khetani and Atlee. It is expected to release on May 31, 2024, also has Varun in the lead.
