Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Confirm Pregnancy, Child Due in September

Mumbai: Star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have announced that they are expecting their first child in September 2024.

The announcement confirms weeks of speculation that Deepika was pregnant. Deepika, who was a presenter at the award show, wore a saree and made an effort to keep her stomach covered.

married in 2018 after dating for a few years. They had a destination wedding in Italy followed by receptions in Mumbai and Deepika’s hometown Bengaluru.

When she shared pictures from her latest release, ‘Fighter’, fans started speculating whether or not she had a baby bump.

Deepika and Ranveer first worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 film ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’. They fell in love and got married on November 14, 2018, in Italy. After that, they have come together in Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

Deepika Padukone was last seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. She has two big films coming up – Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas, and Singham Returns helmed by Rohit Shetty. Singham Returns will also have Ranveer Singh in the role of Simmba Bhalerao.
