IIFA 2023 Technical Awards: Gangubai kathiwadi Bags 3 Trophies; Here’s Complete List

New Delhi: The winners of the IIFA Technical Awards 2023 were announced on Friday. The awards were given in nine categories which include cinematography, screenplay, dialogue, choreography, sound design, editing, special effects (visuals), background score, and sound design.

Gangubai Kathiawadi – Best Cinematography

Gangubai Kathiawadi shows no sign of stopping and won three awards. DOP Sudeep Chatterjee won Best Cinematography for Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Best Screenplay

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Utkarshini Vashishtha received the award for Best Screenplay at the IIFA Technical awards 2023.

Best Dialogues

Utkarshini Vashishtha and Prakash Kapadia wrote the dialogues of Alia Bhatt’s blockbuster film and won an award for Best dialogues at IIFA technical awards 2023.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2- Best Choreography

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 won the award. Choreographer duo Bosco-Caesar won the award for the title track.

Brahmastra – Best visual effects

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Bhrahmastra: Part One Shiva won the award for Best Special Effects (Visual). The VFX of the adventure fantasy drama was done by DNEG, Redefine.

Drishyam 2- Best Editing

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn’s crime thriller ‘Drishyam 2’ bagged the award for Best Editing. Sandeep Francis has done the editing of the crime thriller

Vikram Vedha – Best background score

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ took home the award for the Best Background Score designed by Sam CS.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 – Best sound design

The sound design award was received by Mandar Kulkarni for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film had an engaging sound that kept the audience hooked.

Monica O My Darling – Best sound mixing

‘Monica O My Darling starring Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte bagged the Best Sound Mixing Award, by Gunjan A. Sah, Boloy Kumar Doloi, and Rahul Karpe.
