‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone to Release on May 9

Mumbai: Kalki 2898 AD will hit the cinemas on May 9. This Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer also features Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in important roles.

Along with a new poster, the production house Vyjayanthi Movies revealed the release date on social media on Friday with the message “The story that ended 6000 years ago. Begins May 9th, 2024. The future unfolds.”

In the new poster, Prabhas is carrying a staff and wearing armour. A UFO-like object hovers behind him.

Directed by Nag Ashwin Reddy, Kalki 2898 AD will feature the Prabhas as a modern-day avatar who has descended to earth to protect the world from evil forces.

Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer of the film, while its cinematographer is Djordje Stojiljkovic.

The poster of the film was also shared by Prabhas and Bachchan.
