Mahesh Babu Calls Ranbir Kapoor ‘The Best Actor in India’ at ‘Animal’ Pre-Release Event

Hyderabad: Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has showered praise on Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, hailing him as “the best actor in India.” The accolades were shared during a pre-release event for the upcoming film “Animal” in Hyderabad.

Mahesh Babu, a self-professed fan of Kapoor, expressed his admiration, stating, “I have told him before when I met him, but I don’t think he took that seriously.” The event, attended by the entire ‘Animal’ team, including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna, was live-streamed on YouTube by T-Series.

During the event, Ranbir Kapoor reciprocated the compliments, recalling the first time he met Mahesh Babu and the impact of watching one of his films. “You were the first superstar Mahesh Babu I ever met. I remember messaging him after watching Okkadu, and he replied, ‘and I can’t thank you enough for supporting sir,’” shared Ranbir.

The film ‘Animal,’ co-produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, explores Ranbir’s intense devotion to his on-screen father, played by Anil Kapoor. Originally scheduled for a September release, the film will now hit theatres on December 1, avoiding a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan.’
