OFDC Convenes to Settle Manoj Mishra Boycott Dispute, Actor a No-Show

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Film Development Corporation (OFDC) conducted a meeting on Thursday, led by Kuna Tripathy, to address the ongoing dispute between actor Manoj Mishra and several Ollywood producers who imposed a two-year ban on him. Notably, Manoj Mishra was notably absent from this meeting.

During the meeting, Kuna Tripathy expressed his desire to see a swift resolution to the matter, emphasizing the fraternity’s support for Manoj Mishra. The producers conveyed that they held no grudges against Mishra and pledged to lift the ban as soon as he engages in a dialogue.

Sritam Das, the Secretary of the Film Artist Association, confirmed that everyone present in the meeting agreed to lift the ban, signaling a positive development. He urged Manoj Mishra to step forward and engage in discussions with the producers.

Producer Sanjay Nayak echoed the sentiment of forgiveness and unity within the Ollywood family, expressing readiness to lift the ban. However, he noted that Mishra had chosen to skip the meeting, which puzzled them.

In a social media post, Manoj Mishra indicated his reluctance to attend meetings with the producers but mentioned providing suggestions to Kuna Tripathy for resolving the issue.
