Popular TV Actor Rituraj Singh Dies of Cardiac Arrest at 59

Mumbai: Popular TV actor Rituraj Singh passed away at the age of 59 because of a sudden cardiac arrest.

Born Rituraj Singh Chandrawat Sisodia in Kota, Rajasthan, Singh pursued his education in Delhi before embarking on a journey to the United States during his formative years. At the age of 12, he returned to India, eventually settling in Mumbai in 1993.

Singh is remembered for his early appearances in shows like “Banegi Apni Baat” on Zee TV in 1993 to his more recent roles in “Jyoti,” “Hitler Didi,” “Shapath,” “Warrior High,” “Aahat,” and “Adaalat”. He also portrayed Balwant Chodhary in the Colors TV serial “Laado 2.”

He was part of the theatre movement in Delhi and was linked with Barry John’s Theatre Action Group (TAG) for over a decade.

He was set to make his digital debut in the web series “Abhay” on Zee5.
