Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Taking Legal Action On Paps Over Privacy Invasion

New Delhi:  Power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are planning to take legal action against the paparazzi, who violated their privacy last month by taking pictures while she was relaxing inside her living room.

In the latest interaction with Miss Malini, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actor addressed the matter and said “it was an invasion of privacy. You cannot shoot inside my house and anything can be happening inside my house, that is my home. It was totally uncalled for.” He further added that they are going through the correct legal ways of dealing with it and didn’t talk much about it much and called it something very ugly.

Ranbir Kapoor told Miss Malini that he respects the paparazzi and they are a part of the film world. “It’s a symbiotic relationship ‘they work with us, we work with them’. But stuff like this is something which pushes your back to the wall and you feel very ashamed of somebody doing something like that,” the actor added.

The photos of Alia, where she can be seen sitting on her balcony, were taken from the neighbouring building. Sharing the post last month, Alia tagged the Mumbai Police and wrote, ”In what world is this okay and is this allowed? This is a gross invasion of someone’s privacy. There’s a line that you must not cross, and it is safe to say that all lines were crossed today (sic).”

After Alia’s post, many celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma came out in support. Arjun Kapoor also slammed the incident and termed it as ‘stalking’.

Worth mentioning that earlier this month, Saif Ali Khan seemed a bit annoyed by all the photographers following him and his wife Kareena Kapoor while returning from the birthday party of Malaika Arora’s mother, the actor couple was caught outside their home late at night.

As the paparazzi screamed Saif and Kareena’s name, the actor seemingly got a little upset and made a witty remark. As the paparazzi screamed ‘Sir, sir! rukiye na’ for pictures outside his home, Saif shot back, “Aisa kariye aap humare bedroom mein aa jaiye (Do one thing, come to our bedroom).”
