Sanjay Dutt to Appear As Dhak Deva in Period-Action Film ‘KD-The Devil’

Mumbai: On Sanjay Dutt’s 65th birthday on Monday, director Prem dropped the first-look poster of the actor as Dhak Deva from the upcoming period-action film ‘KD – The Devil’.

“The Lord of Devil’s Democracy, Dhak Deva, steps into #KD’s Vintage Battlefield, bringing a storm of intensity. Here’s wishing our beloved #SanjayDutt sir a very Happy Birthday! We’re delighted to have him in #KDTheDevil. Happy birthday baba,” the Kannada filmmaker wrote alongside the posters on X.

In the poster, Sanjay sports a police cap, black shades and a red tilak on his forehead while holding a stick in his hands. A blue vintage car can be seen in the background.

“In the early 1970s. Petty criminal Kaali unwittingly involves himself with underworld thugs, catalyzing events beyond his control,” reads the official synopsis of the film on IMDb.

This movie is based on events from Bangalore in the 1970s. It will be released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages.

Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s 2023 film Leo starring Thalapathy Vijay.
