WATCH: SRK Seeks Blessings at Vaishno Devi Ahead of ‘Dunki’ Release

Mumbai: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan made his third visit to the Vaishno Devi temple on Monday night, just ahead of the release of his upcoming film ‘Dunki.’ Keeping a low profile, SRK was seen walking alongside pilgrims in videos and pictures that surfaced on social media. Donned in a black jacket with a hood, the ‘Chak De India’ actor offered prayers at the temple.

This marks Shah Rukh’s third visit to Vaishno Devi in the past year, with previous visits occurring before the releases of his films ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan.’ The latest pilgrimage is believed to precede the release of ‘Dunki,’ scheduled to hit theatres on December 21.

‘Dunki’ boasts an ensemble cast featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. Produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, the film is a JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation. Co-written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, ‘Dunki’ narrates a heartwarming tale of four friends on a transformative journey to fulfill their dreams abroad, drawing inspiration from real-life experiences.

The recently unveiled official trailer, titled ‘Dunki: Drop 4,’ provides a glimpse into the captivating world created by Rajkumar Hirani. Beginning with SRK on a train, the video introduces whimsical characters, including Hardy, played by Shah Rukh Khan, and a group of spirited friends – Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli. United by a common dream of travelling to London for better opportunities, the film explores the poignant and amusing aspects of their journey.

Stay tuned for the much-anticipated release of ‘Dunki’ on December 21.
