Young Woman Dies Of Suffocation After Suna Besha Darshan Of Deities In Puri

Puri: A young woman died due to suffocation after having darshan of Lord Jagannath and Holy siblings on Suna Besha in Puri on Thursday night.

The deceased devotee has been identified as Sanghamitra Barik (22), daughter of Sharat Chandra Barik from Salipur area in the Cuttack district.

According to reports, the Sanghamitra had gone to Puri along with her parents for darshan of the Holy siblings on Thursday. After darshan, she fell unconscious. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her ‘brought dead.’

On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated a probe in this regard.
