14 Killed, Nearly 100 Injured In Explosion In Bangladesh

Dhaka: As many as 14 people were killed and nearly 100 were injured in an explosion at a multi-storied building in Dhaka’s Gulistan area in Bangladesh.

According to a report by India Today, the incident took place at around 4 pm on Tuesday. The building, located in the busy Siddique Bazaar, was a commercial building with several offices and stores.

Meanwhile, 11 fire services emergency units are at the location and rescue operations are underway.

The blast reportedly took place in a store selling sanitation materials on the ground floor of the seven-storey building.

Injured people have been rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. More Details awaited.
