Dog Chews Up Rs 3.32 Lakh Cash, Owner on Verge of Heart Attack

The owner of a dog almost had a heart attack, when his canine pet, a golden doodle chewed up $4,000 (Rs 3.32 lakh) in cash, reported the BBC.

According to the report, an envelope containing $4,000 was kept by Clayton Law on his kitchen shelf at his home at Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania in the US.

After some time, he was shocked to discover that his dog, Cecil, was chewing the money, and the mutilated cash was scattered all around. Clayton and his wife Carrie were shocked by the scene as they had kept the money to pay a contractor to install a fence.

“I almost had a heart attack.” “This dog, I swear to God, has never touched anything in his life,” said Carrie in an interview with the Pittsburgh City Paper.

The couple managed to retrieve most of the mutilated cash from the chewed-up lot and from the dog’s vomit. They found only $450 missing.

Later, the couple approached the bank where they were able to exchange the notes that had the serial numbers visible.
