Indian Passport Ranks 82 in World’s Most Powerful Passports 2024 List

In the latest Henley Passport Index, India’s passport has been placed at the 82nd place. Indians are allowed visa-free entry to 58 countries. India shares the rank with nations like Senegal and Tajikistan.

The Henley Passport Index ranking is based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Singapore passport is world’s most powerful passport, offering visa-free access to 195 countries, as per the rankings. France, Italy, Germany and Spain tied with Japan in second place. The passport holders of these countries have visa-free access to 192 countries. Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, South Korea, and Sweden are in the third place with visa-free access to 191 destinations.

The United Kingdom is the fourth place, alongside New Zealand, Norway, Belgium, Denmark and Switzerland. Australia and Portugal shared the No. 5 spot. The United States dropped down to eighth place, with visa-free access to 186 countries.
