Karachi In Panic Following Mysterious Deaths, 22 Bodies Found Across Pak City

A number of unidentified bodies are being found in various areas of Karachi city in Pakistan. The number of such mysterious deaths reported in Karachi has now reached 22, according to a Geo News report published on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, five new bodies were discovered in different parts of Karachi.

According to the Chhipa Welfare Association, an NGO in Pakistan, three of the latest victims were suspected to be drug addicts, reported Geo News.

None of the 22 bodies have been identified.

According to Geo News, the Chhipa Welfare Association that runs a network of ambulances in Karachi, confirmed that the number of unidentified bodies has reached 22. It added that nearly two dozen of those bodies were still unclaimed.

The deaths were attributed to an ongoing heatwave.

It is alleged that most of the dead were drug addicts who died due to severe heat while being under the influence of drugs

This incident highlights the rising use of Ice, also known as crystal methamphetamine in Pakistan and Karachi. The ease of access to ice, as well as its relatively low cost compared to other drugs, has contributed to its popularity among young Pakistanis.
