MasterChef Australia Judge Jock Zonfrillo Passes Away At 46

Melbourne: Celebrity chef Jock Zonfrillo passed away on Monday at the age of 46. He was a judge on MasterChef Australia and a chef and author.

His passing was confirmed by his family on Monday, who described him as “our irreplaceable husband, father, brother, son, and friend” who passed away in Melbourne on Sunday.

However, the reason for death was not disclosed. A spokeswoman for Victoria Police said that there was no indication of a suspicious nature in the death. The coroner will receive a report.

The new season of MasterChef Australia was scheduled to debut on Monday night, however, Network 10 has announced that it won’t air this week.

We are heartbroken to announce that Jock passed away yesterday; his family said as much in a statement. “With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him,” the statement read.
