New Delhi: A Mercedes car crashed into a shop in north Delhi’s Civil Lines area injuring six people. The injured included some workers of the shop.
According to police sources, the incident took place on Sunday afternoon at Fatehchand Kachori shop located at Rajpur Road. A CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media. It showed a white Mercedes car hitting people standing outside the kachori shop and tossing them in the air.

The driver of the car, identified as Parag Maini, was nabbed by the police. The luxury car involved in the incident was also seized.
The injured were admitted at Tirath Ram Shah Hospital in Civil Lines.
The driver of the car has been booked under sections 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code.
