3 Children from Jagatsinghpur Drown in Burhi Gandak River in Bihar

Patna: Three children from Jagatsinghpur village in the Samastipur district of Bihar drowned in the Burhi Gandak River on Friday.

According to reports, five children initially drowned in the river while bathing. The locals managed to save the lives of two.

Personnel of the SDRF and the local divers recovered the bodies of three children. Their bodies were brought to Samastipur for autopsy.

Two victims were 12-year-old boys and the other was a 10-year-old boy. They were from Jagatsinghpur village and had gone to bathe in the river.
