8 Nursing Students Hospitalized Following gas Leak From Tanker in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: At least eight students of a nursing college were hospitalised on Saturday following a gas leak from a tanker lorry in Ramapuram of Kannur district in Kerala.

The students experienced breathing difficulty and uneasiness. They were immediately admitted to Pariyaram Medical College and Pazhayangadi taluk hospital. According to police sources, their condition is stable.

The students were affected by Hydrochloric acid leaked from the tanker lorry on Friday evening. The leak could not be not contained completely and and the vehicle was shifted to a safer place by the fire force.
