Body of Girl Student of 4th Yr Found Hanging in IIT Kharagpur Hostel

Kharagpur: A fourth-year girl student of IIT Kharagpur was found hanging in her hostel on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Devika Pillai (21) from Kerala. The female student was found hanging from the ceiling of the hostel building. Police are investigating whether it is a case of suicide or something else.

Pillai was a fourth-year student of the Department of Biotechnology. She was found hanging from the roof of Sarojini Naidu Hostel Hall on Monday morning.
