Pee-Gate Rerun! Drunk Man Urinates On Co-Passenger On NY-Bound Flight

New Delhi: An allegedly intoxicated Indian passenger on an American Airlines aircraft between New York and Delhi reportedly discharged himself on another passenger.

A senior police officer said that legal action has been taken for non-cognisable offences under the civil aircraft rules.

“We have taken action as a result of receiving a complaint from the airline crew over one passenger’s unruly behaviour. The co-passengers have not yet made a complaint or provided corroborating evidence that someone peed on them,” the officer said.

Sources claim that the accused passenger got into a fight with a fellow traveller on American Airlines flight AA 292 and urinated on him while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) detained the suspected ‘unruly’ passenger after the aircraft touched down at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Sunday night at 9 PM.

Earlier, a drunken man allegedly peed on a female companion in her seventies on a business-class Air India flight from New York to Delhi on November 26, 2017.

On December 6, 2022, an Air India flight from Paris to New Delhi saw another incident in which a male passenger is said to have discharged himself on a vacant seat and blanket while a female passenger was using the restroom.
