Earthquake Of Magnitude 4.3 Jolts Gujarat

Gandhinagar: An earthquake of 4.3 magnitudes hit Gujarat on Sunday afternoon, the National Center for Seismology said.

The tremor was recorded at 3:21 pm with its epicentre some 270 kilometres northwest (NNW) of Rajkot, NCS tweeted.

The tremors were followed mere minutes later by a fresh quake of similar magnitude some 117 km south of Fayzabad in Afghanistan.

Earlier in the day an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 had been recorded close to Kolhapur in Maharashtra
