Pradeep Jena Is Odisha’s New Chief Secy

Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS and Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Kumar Jena has been appointed as the next Chief Secretary of the state.

IAS Jena will replace Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, who is retiring on February 28.

The 1989-batch IAS officer of Odisha cadre was serving as Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary, Planning and Convergence with the additional charge of Agriculture Production Commissioner, Special Relief Commissioner and MD, OSDMA.

Anu Garg will replace Jena as Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary, Planning and Convergence while continuing as Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources, an official notification issued on Sunday said.
