Cuttack/Bhubaneswar: Taking serious notice of the increasing jams and road mishaps in Twin City due to violation of traffic norms, DCP Bhubaneswar-Cuttack notified a strict stance against violators.
It is mandatory for bikers in Odisha capital to carry a driving licence, registration certificate, bike insurance policy, fitness and Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) certificates, according to a tweet posted by DCP Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.

Meanwhile, the post created confusion among city denizens, who enquired whether documents uploaded in Digilocker and mParivahan were valid during the inspection and also about the fitness certificate.
A Twiterati, Sabyasachi Jena wrote, “We can’t carry physical documents all times, please make all above should be available through DigiLocker. Last 2 documents still not in DigiLockers availability.”
Another Twitterati wrote, “Team why physical documents carrying is mandatory? Why then govt has developed MParivahan,digilocker app?? Check the facts before posting.”
