Jharkhand Shocker: Husband Chops Wife’s Body Into 50 Pieces; Arrested

A similar case has come to light in Jharkhand with uncanny similarities as the nation deals with the horrific murder of Shraddha Walkar, who was strangled and hacked into 35 pieces by her live-in-partner Aaftab Ameen Poonawala. In Jharkhand’s Sahebganj, a man has been arrested for reportedly chopping off his wife’s body into 50 pieces under Borio police limits.

On Saturday night around 6:00 pm, a woman’s dismembered body was discovered inside an old house in the Santhali Momin Tola area, according to the police. According to an initial investigation, the accused lured the victim by promising to wed her.

The victim, identified as Rubika Pahadin was allegedly murdered by her husband Dildar Ansari. According to the police, Rubika was Dildar’s second wife, and the two were together for the past two years. The tragedy was discovered when the woman’s relatives went to the police to report her missing, and during the course of the inquiry, officers found Rubika’s mutilated body.

According to Sahebganj SP, “12 pieces of a 22-year-old woman’s body from a primitive tribal group were discovered in Sahibganj. There are still some body parts missing, and searches are being conducted to find them. The deceased was her husband Dildar Ansari’s second wife, and he has been taken into custody by the police.” (sic)

 

Police believe the accused chopped up a woman’s body into multiple pieces using a sharp instrument, possibly an electric cutter. The matter is currently the subject of more study.
