K’taka BJP MP Threatens To Demolish Masjid-Like Bus Stop

Mysuru: Pratap Simha, a BJP MP from Karnataka, stirred up fresh controversy by threatening to bulldoze a bus stop that resembles a mosque. This mosque like bus-stop exists on Mysuru-Ooty Road.

“I’ve seen that on social media, said MP Simha. There are two domes at the bus stop, one large in the centre and one smaller next to it. That’s a mosque only.”

“I directed the engineers to knock down the building in three to four days. If they don’t, I’ll demolish it myself with a JCB.”

Meanwhile, the BJP MP was slammed by the Congress for his alleged communal remarks.

Salim Ahmed, the head of the Karnataka Congress, remarked, “This is a ridiculous statement by the Mysuru MP. Will he destroy government buildings that also include a gumbaz?
