Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha Websites To Get A Revamp; Check Details

New Delhi: The websites of both the Houses of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha have recently been revamped.

You can log in to www.sansad.in/ls or www.sansad.in/rs, or even both, to look through the information about both houses online.

Additionally, if one clicks on either of the URLs, a link to the websites of both Houses is provided, thus it is no longer necessary to input two separate URLs, as was the case in the past, to visit the websites of both the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament.

Another intriguing feature of the revamped websites is the addition of a link to the UK’s Parliament and to Indian legislative bodies, which takes users to links for all state legislative councils and assemblies.

The new look websites are clutter-free and cleaner, which has been done to make them more user-friendly, even if it is currently just in soft launch.

One can explore the latest publications, updates, and party positions on the home pages of both Houses’ websites.

In fact, a link to IRCTC’s online railway reservation system is also available on the newly designed Lok Sabha website.

The Vice President, who serves as the Upper House’s chairman, and the Prime Minister’s webpages are linked from the new Rajya Sabha website.

Other helpful links, such as information on members, House business, committee meetings, and relevant material, are provided via concealed pull-down icons.
