Mayawati Again Unanimously Re-Elected as BSP President

Lucknow: Mayawati was again unanimously re-elected as the national president of the BSP.

The decision to re-elect her to the post was taken during a special meeting of the BSP Central Executive Committee (CEC) and senior national-level office bearers and state party units and representatives selected from all over the country, said a release of the BSP.

Mayawati, 68, is a four-time former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Over two decades back, BSP founder Kanshi Ram declared her as his political successor. She continues to head the BSP since then.
