Rahul Gandhi to appear before MP-MLA Court in UP’s Sultanpur in A Defamation Case Tomorrow

New Delhi: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will appear before the MP-MLA court in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur on Friday for hearing in a defamation case.

This defamation case was filed by a local BJP leader Vijay Mishra on August 4, 2018 against Rahul Gandhi for making alleged objectionable remarks against the then BJP president Amit Shah in 2018.

The court had granted bail to Gandhi in the case on February 20.

Congress district president of Sultanpur, Abhishek Singh Rana said on Thursday that Rahul Gandhi would reach Lucknow airport at 9 am on Friday and then proceed towards Sultanpur.
