1 Killed, 6 Injured in Road Mishap in Odisha’s Nayagarh

Nayagarh: One person died and over six people were severely injured in a road accident in Odisha’s Nayagarh district.

According to reports, the accident took place after a pick-up van collided with a truck near Gourachandrapur chhak in Ranpur on Sunday. Following the collision, one person died on the spot and as many as six have been injured.

The reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained.

On being informed, police reached the spot, rescued the injured and rushed them to the nearby hospital. The cops also seized the body and sent it for autopsy.

The police have started to probe into the case.
