12th Class Student Attends MBBS Class without Admission in Kerala

A student of class 12 attended MBBS classes for four days in Kozhikode Medical College for four days without proper admission. Following a complaint from the medical college authorities, Kerala police have started an investigation into the matter.

This student is not eligible for medical courses as he has not passed his higher secondary examinations and cleared the NEET entrance. According to the vice-principal of the medical college K G Sajith Kumar, they had found that one student was attending the class along with newly inducted first-year students without getting admitted to the medical college.

According to him, on the first day, several students had reached late. So, all of them were allowed to attend class without verification of their admission cards. Authorities suspect that this mysterious student attended classes of the medical college for four days.

The matter came to the notice of the college authorities when the student did not attend class on the fifth day.

The classes had begun on November 29. A total of 245 students had got admitted to the first-year MBBS course. When the attendance register was prepared on the basis of admission cards issued to students, college authorities found discrepancies with the preliminary attendance register of 246 students. Then only the authorities realised that there was one extra student in the classroom for four days.
