3 Severely Injured After Their Car Rams Into Electic Pole

Bhubaneswar: Three persons sustained severe burn injuries after a car they were travelling with rammed into an electric pole between Bhubaneswar and Puri on Saturday.

The three victims were identified as Sapan Sarkar, Somarai Sarkar and Prasanjit Ray of Kolkata. The trio met with the mishap at Biragobindapur under Chandapur police limits.

According to reports, Sapan was going to Puri for darshan of Lord Jagannath with his family. On the way to puri, they met with an accident. The children travelling with them are safe.

The trio were rushed to a nearby hospital and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
