31 Bonded Labourers Rescued From Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: At least 31 bonded labourers were rescued in Odisha’s Balangir district. They were allegedly being trafficked to Visakhapatnam.

According to police, the 31 migrant labourers include six minors.

Receiving hints about this human trafficking, the RPF of Balangir police station intercepted a bus carrying migrant laborers late last night.

The rescued labourers were from Bijepur of Bargarh district of the state.

Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
