78-Yr-Old lady’s Midair Mayhem; Bites Flight Attendant & Beats Co-passenger

An elderly woman aged 78 years is accused of biting a flight attendant and hitting a co-passenger during a flight from New Zealand to Gold Coast in Australia. According to media reports this aged woman will appear in court on charges of these misbeviours on April 3.

On January 29, during a New Zealand-Australia flight, she bit the flight attendant after hitting another passenger in the face. This woman was arrested in Australia when the flight landed there.

She was one of 49 travellers who were nabbed under ‘Operation Sleigh’ launched by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) to eradicate offensive, disruptive, and illegal behaviour both in the air and on the ground.
