9-Month-Old Orphan Girl Finds A Happy Family In Karnataka Couple

Cuttack: Finally a life got an identity. She is little but with a lot for her new parents. This has been proved by a Karnataka couple as they adopted a 9-month-old baby girl at a function held at the Cuttack District Collector’s office here on Thursday.

Reportedly, the couple identified as Thangavel Sarvana and Subhashini Munishyami informed the media that they did not have a child even after 16 years of marriage. So, they decided to adopt a child and applied for adoption seven years ago.

After a long wait, the government accepted the couple’s application and provided them with an adoption form from the social organisation Servants of India Society. Following this, the society provided the couple with a 9-month-old girl child for adoption.

District Social Welfare Officer Phamagi Parida and members of the Servants of India Society were present at the function.
