After 12 years of marriage, husband knows wife’s religion

Lucknow: Jagbir Kori of Shahnawajpur Jagbi in Uttar Pradesh, Ayodhya, has come to know about his wife Pooja’s exodus from the Muslim community after 12 years of marriage. Their wife’s real name is Hasina Banu. Jagbir has filed a complaint against his wife and in-laws police station for threatening him to change his religion.

A few years ago, Jagbir got to know his wife was teaching Islam to some children. After asking his wife about this, there was a quarrel between the two and Hasina left the house and went to her father’s house. A few days later, Hasina returned to Jagbir. After returning from his uncle’s house, Jagbir found out that his son was circumcised.

Later, Hasina’s family put local goon Nasir behind him to convert Jagbir. He threatened to cut off Jagbir’s head if he did not convert to Islam. After the complaint, the local police arrested Nasir. Jagbir met Hasina at a railway station 12 years ago. Hasina got married to Jagbir in court after saying that she is helpless. Both have two children.
