Balangir Chamber of Commerce President’s Body Found on Railway Tracks

Balangir: The body of businessman and president of Balangir Chamber of Commerce, Tripurari Panigrahi was found on the railway tracks near Khujenpali under Balangir Sadar police station limits on Monday morning.

Locals stumbled upon the body and informed the Government Railway Police (GRP). The Railway police recovered the body and launched a probe into the case.

According to sources, Panigrahi went missing from Sunday night. When he did not return home, his family members searched for him throughout the night. On Monday morning they received the information that Panigrahy’s body was recovered from the railway tracks.

The exact cause of his death is yet to be confirmed. Some allege that it is a case of murder while is suspected that he may have died after falling from a moving train.

Members of the Balangir Chamber of Commerce have demanded a high-level inquiry into the case.
