New Delhi: Delhi Police on Monday took Bibhav Kumar, accused in the alleged Swati Maliwal assault case, to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence for a recreation of the purported crime scene, according to a police official.

Kejriwal’s personal assistant Kumar was arrested on Friday and has been remanded to five-day police custody.

“At approximately 5:45 pm, a team of Delhi Police officers accompanied him to the CM’s residence to recreate the crime scene and verify the sequence of events,” the official stated.

Maliwal had lodged an FIR against Kumar, accusing him of assaulting her during her visit to Kejriwal’s residence in the Civil Lines area on May 13.
