Chhattisgarh’s Social Media Influencer Leena Nagwanshi Found Hanging at her Home

Raigarh: A 22-year-old social media influencer was found dead hanging in her home in the Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh.

The social media influencer, Leena Nagwanshi, is suspected to have committed suicide.

“A 22-year-old social media influencer Leena Nagwanshi died by suicide by hanging herself in her home in Raigarh. The body has been sent for post-mortem,” said Ingeshwar Yadav, Sub Inspector Chakradhar Nagar Police Station.

According to reports, Leena was found hanging from the roof of her house by her mother.

“When her mother returned home afternoon, the influencer was not in her room. When her mother checked the house and didn’t find her, she went to the terrace to check but the door was locked. Somehow she tried to open the door and saw Leena hanging on the roof of her own house,” said police.

Leena’s family immediately informed the police about the matter. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The body was sent for autopsy.

The police did not find any suicide notes on the spot.

“The cause of death will be ascertained only after the investigation,” the police said.

Further investigation is underway.
