Divyang Minor Girl Gang Raped by Cousin & His Friends in Puri District

Puri: A physically challenged minor girl was allegedly gang raped by her cousin and his friends in Kakatpur under Astarang police station in Puri district.

The irony is that the victim had always considered this cousin as her brother. According to reports, her cousin and three of his friends were involved in the shameful sexual harassment of the Divyang minor girl.

The mother of the victim has lodged a complaint at Astarang police station regarding the incident. Police have started an investigation into the matter.

According to police sources, the main accused has been taken into custody for interrogation. But the three of his friends also involved in the crime are absconding. The search is on to nab them.

Meanwhile, the victim has been sent for a medical examination. Locals have demanded strict action against the youths involved in this gang rape.
