Drunk Man Urinates on Woman During Flight; DGCA Seeks Report from Air India

New Delhi: A drunken man urinated on an elderly woman traveling in the business class of Air India’s flight from US to India. India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked for a report from the airline regarding the incident.

According to Air India authorities, this incident took place on November 26 during a flight from John F Kennedy international airport in New York to Delhi. A police complaint was lodged against the miscreant. Air India formed an internal committee to enquire into the incident. The committee recommended the male passenger be placed on a “no-fly list.”

Now the DGCA is seeking a report from Air India to take action against those found negligent.

The matter has been sent for investigation to a government-appointed committee and a decision is awaited concerning the matter.
