Earthquake of 6.1 Magnitudes Jolts New Zealand

Lower Hutt (New Zealand): An earthquake measuring 6.1 magnitudes on the Richter scale struck Lower Hutt of New Zealand.

The earthquake happened at 12:08 PM Indian Standard Time.

No tsunami alert has been issued yet. No casualties or damages have also been reported yet.

In recent times, multiple earthquakes was felt in Turkey and Syria. The quakes were so strong that the tremors were also felt in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other countries.
