Ex-CM Kejriwal to Vacate Official Residence in a Week

New Delhi: Aravind Kejriwal, who resigned from the post of Delhi Chief Minister on Tuesday will vacate his official residence within one week, said AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media, Singh added that Kejriwal would also give up all the facilities provided to him while he was the Chief Minister.

Kejriwal, along with AAP MLAs, visited the L-G Secretariat to tender his resignation on Tuesday and formally stake claim to form a new government under Atishi’s leadership.

“Yesterday after tendering his resignation, Kejriwal said he will leave all the facilities that a chief minister gets, including security, and live as a commoner among the people”, said Singh.

But he did not say where Kejriwal would stay after leaving his official residence.
