Father Hires ‘Supari Killers’ to Murder His Son

Bengaluru: A man hired six supari killers to murder his own 26-year-old son in the Hubbali area of Karnataka. Apart from this prime accused, the six hired killers have also been arrested by police.

The deceased was a young jeweler named Akhil. He was killed on December 1. During interrogation of family members, the father of the victim Bharath Mahajanshet confessed that he was behind the killing, said police officials.

Police investigation has revealed that Akhil’s father, Bharath had handed over the victim to the hired killers at the location of the murder.

After killing Akhil, the supari killers buried his body in a sugarcane field. The body was recovered on Wednesday. The reason behind this murder is yet to be ascertained.
