Free Medical, Engineering Coaching for Odisha’s +2 Students

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to provide free coaching to +2 students planning to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).

State government is planning to replicate the Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya format in government schools by introducing JEE and NEET coaching for meritorious students.

Because of this new scheme, financial constraints will no longer be a stumbling block for poor and meritorious students in achieving their goals.

According to the plan, the meritorious students of Class 11 and 12 will be given free coaching for engineering and medical entrances. Students securing 90 percent in the matriculation exam will be eligible for this free coaching facility.

“In Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, free coaching is being provided to those students who have secured above 90 per cent marks. Similarly, students passing out HSC with good marks will also be given free coaching,” informed School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.

More information regarding the plan of giving free coaching will be notified soon.
